I purchased a pile 6 speaker radio and 2 pile amps for my boat. I hooked them up and got laughed at by my friends. I tooked them out after using them twice and replaced them with these JL audio speakers. It sounds like I am at a concert. I would recomend spending the extra money on these speakers especially if you live around salt water. These speakers are incredible. Don't make the same mistake I did by putting crap stereo equipment on your boat. If your going to do it you might as well do it right. I have these speakers hooked to a JL Audio amp. Yeah its a little expensive but by the time I replace this system I would of gone threw five others. It was hard to come out that much money at first but it will pay off in the long run.

You cant go wrong with these speakers. I put a pair in my seadoo speedster and the sound just blew me away. The quality of the speakers is amazing, I am running them off just my head unit and the sound is plenty without the aid of an amplifier. Buy these speakers.

Purchased these JL Speakers to put in the Forward berth on my boat. They definately lived up to their brand reputation....these are excellent speakers. Also have a pair of the 770's topside powered by a JL M4500 amp. This system blows away the Poly Planer speakers that were in the boat. Product is built very well, Looks great and the sound clarity is fantastic. I highly recommend JL audio products.
