All I can say is wow. I have this paired with the Rockford Fosgate Prime R500-1 500-Watt Mono Amplifier, and a PAC SNI-35 Adjustable 2-Channel Line Out Converter, hooked up to my factory system. The amp is barely turned up and the trunk of my Lincoln LS rattles like no other. Turned the gain down, and since this a sealed box @ 2 ohms, the clarity of the bass is outstanding. Exactly what I was looking for. The RF emblem embroidered on the box adds a nice touch to an otherwise bland box (but hey who looks inside the trunk anyways!). I would absolutely buy this setup again if I had to!
P.s. if you're looking for a QUALITY amp wiring kit that costs less than half of the overpriced monster cables, I HIGHLY recommend the Scosche Revopak8 8-Gauge Revo Series Single Amp Power and Audio Kit (Silver/Black)(or 4gauge depending on your power requirements). It looks amazing and the quality is unsurpassed for anything ive seen in that price range. And ive installed many systems in my day.

I was a little skeptical before I purchased this box; I'm slightly new to the world of car audio, and many articles and forums had informed me that two of the highest ranking brands were JL Audio and Rockford Fosgate. However, many people scrutinize the R1 series, saying that they're overpriced for what the buyer receives.
The current cost of this box is 250 dollars; I was lucky and swung it for 130.
The enclosure alone is worth that much, and the two R1 subs bridged to run at 2 ohms through my 800 watt Lanzar amp hit HARD.
I'm highly pleased with this enclosure.
I'd recommend these subs to anyone who isn't looking to be a typical fool with 15 subs crammed into the back of their "pimp" astrovan.

i use this with the r500 prime amp, and it pushes them to their limits i think. they hit the low and high bass notes really well, and it shakes EVERYTHING in the car. my volume goes to 31, and the loudest i ever go is 18 with the bass all the way up. my windshield wipers look like their about to fall off cause the bass hits so hard. they have a very clear sound, and theyre so loud. they are a great price also, so you cant go wrong. if you are looking for a system that will sound good with any music, and you can bump to, get these. you wont be disappointed.
