ahh the infamous kappa perfects. While not for everyone, this set of highs intensive components will sing every note to precision. While it is a "fun" install due to the very large magnets on the woofers, the sound is incomparable. A properly adjusted EQ makes them hit every note. The highs are indeed shap. The mids can be felt through the car, while the bass shakes the rearview mirror. The crossovers are set to -3 and the tweets are still bright, but with proper tuning, they will turn into one of the best speakers you'll every purchase. I even replaced my rear 6x9 speakers with another set!!

I have been staring at these speakers for several years and finally decided to buy them. I paired them with an all Kappa system and a kappa five amp. I also am controlling them with a pioneer Bt3200 double din touch screen head unit.They are installed on a 1997 Eclipse Spider. I wanted precision an volume and these components deliver in spades. Its more like my doors cant handle the speakers and not the other way around. The sound is balanced and natural with plenty of lows depending on how you mix the frequencies. I wanted them for my car since it is a convertible,so rode noise and other factors played into me installing these into my total system. Power handling is spectacular and I never have to worry about blowing them up. Like someone else said this is a HIGH QUALITY NUCLEAR GRADE component setup. The magnet is huge, the crossovers are large, and the build quality is very excellent. They barely fit in my doors so I was lucky, would suggest putting an amp on them though....buy them You will not regret your purchase.

I am an ex pro audio installer. I can say these are the best component set of anything I have ever put in. The amount of bass is better than many three way component sets, it sounds like 8" subs. Also the power handling and shear output volumn is incredible. The sound quality is also high performance. Yes, the crosssovers are massive, put together they are the size of a small amp, so you need to plan on making room. The tweets come with three different mounting options and everything you need to mount them. The main speakers are massive although mount depth is not much more than a low end counterpart, just check the mount depth specs first if you are concerned. I remeber back when this set was bringing around $500 and for the price now you can not beat it. You will not be sorry.
