These speakers are a must for the stereo fanatic who wants a loud & clear sound. But, you must do your homework for proper installation, powering & Frequency tuning. Anything less and the owner/installer fails not the product. You see to many reviews on Amazon that are negative of products due to stupidity really.
I recently finish a complete stereo build with these speakers installed in the front doors of a 03 Mitsubishi Lancer, first they fit the dia. of the stock hole but screw pattern didnt. No big deal, installed 8 screws per speaker, they are one with the doors. But not before double dynomatting each door. One layer on the inner door skins and one layer on interior side.
The crossover that came with the speakers is nicely mounted behind kicker panels with 2 runs of RF 16 AWG wire to each door. I have a RF T400-4 dedicated to these speakers by splitting the front channel signal from HU w/ Y-RCAs. Rockford fosgate of course as is the whole stereo build. With the crossover switched to bi-amp i have the front channel of the amp powering the tweeters and the rear powering the woofers @ 75 watts rms. Font Freq at 500hz and rear at 80hz with HP set on both. Trebble boost barely on and mid boost at 3/4s.
These speakers scream with clearity at any volume, simple amazing sound. I tuned my system with a SMD DD-1, a must for anyone not wanting to guess. So no distortion at full tilt, but there is a break in period & i would only expect these speakers to sound better.
I hope this helps, they are a must. you wont be disappointed with this high end RF product.

The T2652-S are great speakers but they need a good amp too, I run them with a Rockford Fosgate T1000-4AD and the sound is amazing. If you want these speakers to replace your car factory/stock speakers it would be a waste of money, as said before, you need to run them with a good amp (that must deliver at least 100 RMS per channel).
Pros: Great sound, good price, excellent performance
Cons: Tweeter assembly is some what difficult, you need to be very careful when installing them on the mounting brackets/pieces. It does not include screws to mount speakers, crossover, nor tweeters.
